As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for analyzing historical data, market trends, and customer insights to generate accurate demand forecasts. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and supply chain, to develop and implement effective demand planning strategies. Your objective will be to optimize inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and reduce excess inventory whi
le ensuring timely product availability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct demand forecasting activities using statistical models, historical data, and market intelligence to develop accurate demand plans for various products/services.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to gather relevant market insights, promotions, new product launches, and other factors that may impact demand
  • Monitor and analyze key demand drivers such as sales trends, market conditions, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to refine demand forecasts on an ongoing basis.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and other stakeholders to gather critical information for demand planning
  • Coordinate with the supply chain team to align demand plans with production, procurement, and inventory strategies.
  • Conduct regular demand planning meetings with cross-functional teams to review forecast accuracy, identify gaps, and develop action plans to address potential issues.
  • Analyze inventory levels, stock turnover, and other key performance indicators to optimize inventory management and minimize costs.
  • Monitor and report on forecast accuracy, service levels, and other demand planning metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate adjustments.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by actively participating in process enhancements, system implementations, and other projects related to demand planning
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to gather relevant market insights, promotions, new product launches, and other factors that may impact demand.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders to communicate demand planning and data analysis insights
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning and data analysis, and provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress towards goals

Profil du poste

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor degree (Bac+4/+5) in Logistics/Supply Chain /Transportation
  • Languages : Fluent English. Any other language is a plus.
  • IT : good skills MS Office (Excel), SAP, experience with inventory software (Slimstock, Planipe, …)
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and managing projects from planning through execution.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets and statistical analysis tools.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, demand planning, data analysis, or related fields
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and multicultural environment and manage multiple priorities.
