Our story

Rubix has expanded in France thanks to the coming together of many brands with historical professional skills and recognized expertise. Today, the strength of the Rubix France network lies in this blend of know-how and in the sharing of common values, based on team spirit and fully focused on customer satisfaction.

2023

On 1st January 2023, OREXAD BRAMMER changes its name to RUBIX FRANCE.

2021

Within the RUBIX Group now operating in 22 European countries, the companies OREXAD and BRAMMER join forces to become a single entity: OREXAD BRAMMER.
They can now offer their customers and partners ever broader multi-specialist expertise through an even wider network of experts specialising in industry.

2018

The IPH BRAMMER group becomes RUBIX. The OREXAD and BRAMMER networks however retain their own brands within the RUBIX Group.
– OREXAD comprises 135 branches.
– BRAMMER comprises 29 branches.

2017

ADVENT INTERNATIONAL acquires the European group IPH following its purchase of the BRAMMER Group a few months earlier. IPH and BRAMMER therefore come together within a new entity bearing the name IPH BRAMMER.

2016

First acquisitions of the IPH Group in Spain and Switzerland.

2015

OREXAD and ANFIDIS join forces under the name OREXAD.
First acquisitions of the IPH Group in Italy and Poland.

2013

A new investor, PAI PARTNERS, acquires the IPH Group.

2012

First acquisitions of the IPH Group in Germany.

2011

OREXAD comprises 94 branches in France.
ANFIDIS comprises 50 branches in France.

2009

First acquisitions of the IPH Group in Belgium.

2008

The IPH Group is established and acquires the industrial operations of the ANJAC Group (69 branches), thereby creating the ANFIDIS network.
OREFI and AD INDUSTRIE merge to create the OREXAD network.

2007

First acquisitions of the IPH Group in Romania

2006

A new investor, INVESTCORP, acquires OREFI and its industrial supplies business.

2003

OREFI operates 75 branches in France and 8 in the Netherlands.

2002

Pierre Pouletty takes over from Marcel Sengelin at the helm of the Orefi Group.

2000

The OREFI Group acquires some fifty companies, thereby establishing its credibility in France. In 1998 PPM VENTURES acquires OREFI.

Entrepreneur Pierre Brossette decides to sell his many plumbing & heating supplies companies abroad to create the OREFI Group in Lyon, with the backing of Marcel Sengelin.
